©2024 Mag-Ex3D Modeling Practice:- Follow the tutorial below and post the images images of the final result.
- After finishing the tutorial, use the turnaround that you made last class and 3D model your own character. If you are a beginner, you can try to simplify your character so you can finish the assignment.
- Finally, post a short paragraph about your previous experiences with 3D modeling and share your thoughts on following this tutorial and 3D modeling your own character
Here is the froggy I made after the tutorial. 🥲🥲🥲
Then, based on the turnaround I previously created, I made a model of my Mono. It looks something like this:
Since this was my first attempt at 3D modeling, I initially thought using Blender and creating 3D models would be super complicated. But after going through some tutorials and learning from Prof.Marcela in class, I realized it wasn’t as hard as I imagined. In fact, I actually enjoyed the process of gradually sculpting the shape I wanted—though, yes, I’ll admit it was a little frustrating at times... but time really flew by.
While building my Mono, I was also curious whether I could add a bit of dynamic effect to the magical robe. So I looked it up online and, surprisingly, it wasn’t that difficult! I ended up trying to add some wind force, and now the robe flows gently as if it’s moving in the wind.
